As soon as I was contacted by Katie, I knew that her and Edwin were full of love for one another. When we talked about what visions she had for engagement photos she said “I want it to smell earthy and beautiful”. Done Deal! We headed to a park and a private residence where we had earthy and beautiful unconditional love between these two!
Bringing Charlie, their 6 month old puppy was also part of the plan. Charlie did SO well! Seriously, Katie was nervous – but I got some great shots with Charlie. It might have had to something to do with my not so realistic barking noises. 😉

Charlie was back at, posing like a pro. He really was fantastic, thanks to Danielle (Katie and Edwin’s friend) for entertaining him while he wasn’t being photographed.
After the park we moved onto a private residence, it was gorgeous and the first time I photographed here. I randomly stumbled across this property and was gutsy enough to go ring the doorbell and ask for permission to photograph there occasionally. It turned out to be a gorgeous 2 Acre property!
The sun and property was nothing short of perfect for Katie and Edwin and they rocked their entire session.
We had tons of laughs in-between shots, their personalities truly shine through.
I am so excited to be a part of Katie and Edwin’s wedding in Summer 2015. If it is anything like the love between them it is going to be an absolutely stunning wedding and I can’t wait!
