I have been in hiding with my blog posts lately, but I am back and with an absolutely beautiful wedding! Matt and Ashley had the most perfect August day I have ever encountered for wedding weather. It was sunny, with a little breeze and DRY – if anyone remembers leading up to August it was not dry at all! The day started with Ashley, her bridesmaids, Mother, Mother-In-Law and flower girl all getting ready!

Before she was ready to change, we headed outside to take a few detail shots of her dress, where she checked out her gown for one last time before she put it on to walk down the aisle and become Mrs. Pink!

Ashley’s girls helped to get her ready to go, she looked absolutely stunning. And as many of you know – I always cry a little behind the camera when the brides walk down the aisle at the wedding – this time I cried when she was all set, she was just stunning.

Matt wrote Ashley a sweet letter for her to read right before walking down the aisle to meet him. Based on her reaction, the letter was unbelievably sweet with a lot of tender thoughts (cue tears) but, he must have added a little joke at the end because the smile on her face went from ear to ear! 🙂

Hello cutest little dudes ever, I had to stick them in the mix so every one together could say “awe”!

Ashley and Matt had a beautiful ceremony full of smiles and sweet stories of their relationship thus far. You could feel the love within the church as everyone gathered together to watch Ashley and Matt become husband and wife.

Remember what I was saying about the weather? Yes? Absolutely gorgeous day for outdoor photos. We stopped at a beach and the Sunken Gardens. If you haven’t been there, you need to go check out it! It’s a beautiful location and  this bridal party looks absolutely gorgeous there!

The night concluded with lots of dancing, drinks and laughter! I had a wonderful time being a part of Matt and Ashley’s wedding day! I hope you enjoyed a little peek inside too! 🙂
